Moto Guzzi V85 TT was born to astonish. To go beyond. To become a tireless travel companion, on the road, but also offroad. The components used reflect this all-rounder attitude, raising functionality and riding efficiency. A clear example of this can be found in the high quality suspension, characterised by a long travel capable of absorbing the bumps in offroad riding.
The fork installed on the Moto Guzzi V85 TT is upside-down with a diameter of 41 mm and 170 mm travel, measurements that allow total control in offroad riding, but also precision and solidity when tackling a nice section of asphalt. And it doesn't matter whether you are riding alone or two-up with baggage, or whether your riding style is soft or sporty… there are numerous adjustment possibilities. In fact, the right stanchion of the fork has two practical concentric adjustments at the top near the upper steering yoke, very easy to access and operate. The central screw controls the hydraulic rebound damping, whereas the hexagon underneath allows spring preload adjustment.
The latter has variable gauge: this means that the distance of the coils is not constant over its entire length, a characteristic that allows for an ideal compromise between comfort and stability.
